Discovery Park
San Marcos, CA
An approximate 30 acre community park
oriented primarily toward passive recreational use along
valleys and intermitten stream connecting South Lake and
Discovery Lake. As part of the master planning of the entire
280 acre Rancho Coronodo South, ADL provided concept development
and park planning in coordination with the city and land
owner. A major design feature included the incorporation
of a privately operated minature passenger train and the
facilities which compliment this use, such as overall project
themes and other park amenities.
